Field Notes / Privacy

Your note. Your privacy.

When you send a note, we store your message, your selected role, and any name or email you choose to provide for the DUST project. Your name and email are optional.

Notes are saved privately on the project’s hosting account. They are not published on the website. There is no automated mailing list signup or guaranteed response.

The form uses a temporary session cookie to protect submissions and an anonymous rate-limit identifier to reduce spam. This website does not include advertising trackers or third-party analytics. The hosting provider may maintain normal server access logs.

If you want to ask about a note or request its removal, use the same Field Notes form and identify the note without adding sensitive information.
